There are a lot of people already in the restaurant business and people with no experience just looking to make some extra money. There are a lot of terms that are standards in bartending. Even people who have never been to Bartending School or have other similar education jump into the bartending business thinking that bartending the same as any other business.

Where should you look for a bartending job? It will be to your advantage if your bar is in an easily accessible place in the room and make sure that you have enough space behind the bar. A Cocktail is any alcoholic beverage that usually combines brandy, vodka, gin, or whiskey with other liquors or fruit juices and is often served chilled. A shift is anywhere from four to ten hours in length depending on where you work. It also takes coordination to move quick enough to keep up with the orders without dropping or spilling things.

A lot of drinks that bartenders mix will require special gadgets such as shakers, measuring cups, rinsing bowls, and straws.
